Lots happening in the studio! Most importantly, a large commission in
progress for The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Department of Pediatric
Oncology (Main Campus, S-2) Click the image above to see the work
in various stages of progress. Also, new paintings in the works for
exhibition in Fall/Winter 2005. Click here to see what’s
happening. |
This section is meant to serve 2 main
purposes. (1) To educate students and
artists that are interested in my work process and (2) to help potential
buyers and clients understand what goes into the final product they are
purchasing. I hope it answers any
questions you may have, but if not, please send me your questions or comments. While my work process is pretty
consistent across the board, each project is inherently unique. Some projects require more prep work. Some
are interesting because of the scope of the project. My work process is detailed in the about
the artist section, but to see it for yourself, click the finished
pieces below. There you’ll find
thumbnail sketches, pastel studies, and photos of the work in progress from
under-drawing to paint to finished pastel…. (Note: there are a lot of images
on the following pages, so please be patient if they take a while to load.) Norton
